Arise School of Ministry & Leadership is a full-year discipleship and internship program for young adults who sense God calling them into something more. You'll be stretched, equipped, and sent — surrounded by a community that believes in who God made you to be.

Admissions Timeline
A simple two-stage process designed to help you discern well. It takes 25–35 minutes and we'd love to hear your story.
Ty began as Senior Pastor of Arise Church in May 2022 and has been an ordained Foursquare minister since 2007. Before coming to Arise, he served as Executive Pastor at The Rock in Anaheim, CA for over 18 years — a ministry marked by depth, faithfulness, and a heart for people.
He has served the Foursquare Church as the Atlantic District NextGen Coordinator across 21 states and Washington D.C., and holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Leadership. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Life Pacific University.
Ty and his wife Lilia have been married since 2008 and have three children: Faith, Jude, and Jewel. His passion is simple — to preach the Word of God and see the next generation step fully into their calling.

Meet the Team
JJ Vercellono, MASL
Director & Associate Pastor, Arise Church
JJ Vercellono carries ministry in her bones. Raised in a ministry family, she has spent her life investing in the next generation of leaders. She holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Leadership and has served in ministry across California, Illinois, and the Carolinas.
She and her husband Tim have been married 32 years, are parents to three children, and grandparents to four grandchildren. Ministry is not a career for JJ — it's a calling that runs through every season of her life.
Arise School of Ministry & Leadership was born out of her conviction that the greatest investment we can make is in the rising generation — equipping them with confidence in Christ's call, depth in the Word, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.

The full-year tuition for the 2026/2027 program is $4,000, with a flexible monthly payment option of $400/month available to make it accessible.

Important Note — Housing
Tuition covers program costs only. Housing is not included and is the responsibility of each student to arrange independently. We encourage applicants to plan ahead and factor housing into their preparation before the program begins in September 2026/2027.
